We breed, train, and hunt purebred Wirehaired Pointing Griffons and have a lot of fun along the way. We breed for strong natural point, drive, use of nose, and low maintenance coats keeping with the tradition of Korthals. We enjoy hunting pheasants, quail, ducks, and geese with our dogs! A majority of our hunting takes place in the prairies and river bottoms of south central Iowa where we live. We adhere to the George DeCosta method of training but encourage everyone to have fun with your dog and make it what you want!

I have been around pointing dogs my whole life, mainly hunting French Brittanies and helping my dad in his breeding program as long as I can remember. I spent years researching the perfect breed for everything I was looking for. I loved how the Brittanies both hunted and loved hard but I was looking for a better waterfowling breed and also one with less coat maintenance. Our family landed on Wirehaired Pointing Griffons and, needless to say, we aren’t going back!

Our spring 2024 litter is all spoken for! We are currently taking requests for our 2025 spring litter from Gus and Willow. This is the same breeding as our C litter.
