Potential New Puppy Owners
Our puppies are as important to us as they are to their new families. So, once you have decided you would like a grif puppy we would like to discuss what you are looking for in a dog. We want to get to know you and want you to get to know us-so give us a call!
We require a $250 deposit to reserve your spot for a puppy.
The $250 deposit is refundable any time until there is a confirmed pregnancy. Once there is a confirmed pregnancy the deposit is non-refundable UNLESS there is no pup available.
We will take 8 reservations/deposits ahead of time for each upcoming litter.
Once we have 8 reservations/deposits we will place any other requests on our waiting list. We have had litters as large as 13 puppies so it’s not uncommon to get a puppy if you are on the waitlist.
The remaining $1,950 will be due when the puppy is picked up for a total of $2,200.
We will refund $200 to anyone who completes the NAVHDA natural ability test AND gets a prize.
We do not ship puppies so all puppy pickup is done in person.
When you purchase a puppy with us we will register the puppy with NAVHDA and you will get a proper pedigree or transfer of title.
Pups will also come micro chipped and current on all vaccinations.
Please review our breeder agreement and contact us via email or phone to start talking about what puppy is right for you.
*(For all credit card payments there will be an additional 3.5% charge)
What We Do With Your Puppy Before Pickup
We want to lay a solid foundation for your dog before you take it home as a puppy. There are some fundamental experiences/exposures we believe each puppy should have at a young age in order to help them flourish. We use positive reinforcement/praise as a means to encourage and empower each puppy and make their “learning” a fun experience which we believe is fundamental. Before you take your puppy home they will have these experiences and encounters.

Getting Started
Once you take your puppy home there are some simple steps you can do to begin socializing and training your puppy. We believe in positive reinforcement and training a puppy by making everything an enjoyable experience or ‘a game’ rather than correcting unwanted actions through discipline. To be sure some measure of discipline will be needed along the way but Griffons are very in tune to people. We believe each dog has it’s own unique personality, just like us, and each handler will need to learn how their dog best learns and responds.
We utilize the George De Costa method of training for our dogs and highly recommend it to others as well. He has a book ‘Tips and Tales’ along with a podcast and Youtube videos.
